Keep every drain trap wet
Oriental cockroaches and drain flies come up through dry gullies. Run water through unused showers, guest bathrooms and yard drains once a week. It costs nothing and closes the most common entry route on the island.
Everything customers ask before, during and after a treatment, answered properly rather than in one line.
Standard appointments are usually available within 24–48 hours. Emergencies, wasp nests near entrances, rodents in a kitchen, a stinging incident: are attended the same day, and we run a 24/7 call-out line for Malta and Gozo.
Yes. We run scheduled Gozo days each week for planned work, and cross for emergencies at any time. The ferry surcharge is shown before you confirm.
For most gel baits, dusts and targeted crack-and-crevice work you do not need to leave at all. Where a space spray or fogging is used, we ask people and pets to stay out for 2–4 hours and to ventilate afterwards. Your technician confirms the exact re-entry time before starting and puts it in writing on your treatment record.
We use products authorised for use in Malta and applied strictly to label. Wherever a child or pet is present we favour tamper-resistant bait stations, gels placed out of reach and non-chemical methods such as heat, steam, monitoring and proofing. Safety data sheets are left with you after every visit.
Most residential treatments start between €65 and €180 depending on the pest and the size of the property, and all prices on this site include VAT at 18%. You can see the full price list on our Prices page and book online at a fixed quoted price, no surprises on the day.
Yes. Single treatments carry a 30-day guarantee, multi-visit programmes carry a 90-day guarantee and annual plans are covered for the full term. If the pest returns inside the guarantee period we come back and re-treat at no charge.
On completion, by card, bank transfer or cash. Commercial contracts are invoiced on 30-day terms. You get a VAT receipt either way.
Every commercial contract includes a HACCP-ready pest control file: site plan with numbered bait points, product authorisations and safety data sheets, technician licences, trend analysis and signed visit reports. Clients on our commercial plans get the file online and can hand an auditor a login.
Yes. We schedule around service (early mornings, late nights or closing days) and use methods that do not require the area to be sealed off where possible. Out-of-hours work is planned in advance so there is no disruption to guests.
Clear the floor of the kitchen and bathroom cupboards so the technician can reach the back corners and the hinges, which is where the gel goes. Empty the bins. Wipe away grease from behind and beneath the cooker and fridge, because grease competes with the bait. Put open food into sealed containers. If you have a fish tank, tell us before we arrive. Do not clean or spray anything yourself for two weeks afterwards. DIY sprays repel cockroaches away from the gel bait and undo the whole treatment.
We survey every room, then treat with a combination of steam or controlled heat, residual insecticide applied to harbourages and encasements for mattresses. Most infestations need two or three visits 10–14 days apart, and we re-inspect before issuing a clearance certificate.
Honey bees are beneficial and we never destroy a healthy colony where relocation is possible. We work with local beekeepers to have swarms collected and rehomed. Wasps and hornets are a different matter and are treated as a stinging hazard.
Yes. Licence and insurance details are printed on every quotation, and we will send them to your insurer or auditor on request.
None of them cost much, and between them they account for the majority of the call-outs we attend.

The Asian tiger mosquito breeds in a bottle cap of water. Plant pot saucers, buckets, gutters, toys and boat covers emptied once a week will do more for your summer than any spray.
A mouse fits through a 6 mm gap. A €17 bristle strip on each external door removes the single most common rodent entry point in Maltese properties.
Cockroaches arrive in cardboard and live in it. Deliveries, boxes stored in the garage and packaging kept "in case" are all harbourage, and they are free to remove.
Red palm weevil enters through pruning wounds. Never prune between March and November, and seal any cut immediately. A mature palm costs thousands to replace.
Paper wasps start nests in April when they are the size of a coin and one person can remove them safely. By August the same nest holds hundreds of wasps and needs a professional.
